Hey whaddup Rat Fam (family), don’t forget to smash that like share subscribe button!
Something I’ve been thinking about a LOT lately is overthinking. I was thinking about it so much back in 2019 that I made a comic about it, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I think that comic still resonates today.
Very #relatable, amirite.
Anyway, in an effort to cut down on rumination and cut up on resolution, I devised a fresh new slogan that I think–no wait, that I know–you’re gonna like.
Get a load of this:
The idea behind this slogan is that it’s encouraging you to move from a “thinking mindset” to a “doing mindset,” and take action on the thing that you’ve been considering taking action on. Pretty neat, huh?
To help me along the way in my “doing journey,” I’ve also created this cute little character with a slightly oblong, almost swooshing smile. I call him “Swooshie.”
If you’d like to adopt my slogan for your own personal journey please feel free! Just be sure to credit me by my full legal name and link to this website whenever using the slogan, Swooshie character, or any shapes derivative of the Swooshie character’s shape. Venmo tips not expected but are appreciated ($50 per usage seems fair, but follow your stars).
Swooshie is super versatile! Protip: Try zooming in on just his smile and cropping the image to your liking.
As part of my rebranding, I’ve also been exploring the idea of making myself a logo. I haven’t really honed in on an identity yet, so these are just a few ideas.
This first one is based on the Minnesota Timberwolves logos from 1997/2009. It represents ferocity and fangs.
The second one was also inspired by a Minnesota Timberwolves logo, this time from 2017 - present.
In my interpretation you’ll notice that the moon is full and bright, almost sun-like, and I’m howling a series of “Rs,” which represents both the first letter of my name and a growling “Rrrrrr” sound. It’s important for good logos to have lots of subtle imagery and dual meaning.
My third logo is, again, loosely based on a Minnesota Timberwolves logo. Specifically the one from 1990 where the wolf looks kind of sexy and dumb.
If you have any feedback on my original new slogan or logos please send me a message and let me know!
Just a heads up that I’ve been having some trouble lately with the spam filter on my contact form blocking the terms “trademarked,” “copyright infringement,” and “legal action,” so if you include any of those words in your message I WON’T see it, I WON’T acknowledge it, and I CAN’T be held liable for any damages that may be incurred as a result of my non-compliance.
Thanks for reading!!
